Style and Composition

The right side is dominated by a tight vertical cluster of slender trees painted in deep indigo, slate blue, and charcoal black, creating a shadowed structural barrier. In contrast, the left side opens into an abstract wash of intense white and pale cream light that filters down from above.
That bright passage illuminates a lively network of leaves and undergrowth rendered in emerald, chartreuse, and lime green. Cooper balances vertical structure with loose splatters, stippled marks, and energetic strokes, capturing the organic disorder and vitality of an untamed woodland.
