On the far left, a low, brilliant sun dips toward the horizon, breaking through soft haze and flooding the sky and water with cadmium yellow, cream, and gentle peach tones.
The harbor is animated by a rhythmic scattering of anchored skiffs and dories. Their hulls shift from cool periwinkle shadow to bright golden highlight where they catch the sun.
