Across a substantial 30" x 24" canvas, Ina transforms rainfall into a striking visual experience. Fine-grained detail gives way to rhythm, texture, and movement, allowing the weather itself to become the subject. The upper two-thirds of the composition are filled with a pale, misted sky of cream, silver-white, and warm beige, interrupted by hundreds of charcoal and black vertical lines that suggest rain falling in steady, atmospheric sheets.
The lower portion opens into a reflective coastal marsh or inlet, rendered with long horizontal strokes of periwinkle blue, slate grey, and luminous white. This bright water plane is framed by a jagged strip of land and a deep foreground mass of charcoal, near-black, and forest green.
