A dense wall of deep crimson, magenta, and burgundy anchors the upper-left quadrant, then descends into the midground with strong visual weight. The painting opens into a luminous field at the upper right, where emerald, chartreuse, and lime greens spiral across the surface, energized by bright white highlights that suggest sunlight striking a lily pond.
