Sandra Kavanaugh
Experience the raw movement, crashing waves, and luminous atmosphere of the New England coastline through the masterfully crafted works of Sandra Kavanaugh, proudly represented at Go Native Gallery. Holding a BFA in Fine Art from the Massachusetts College of Art, Sandra is a highly celebrated painter who has resided on Little Island Pond in Pelham, New Hampshire, for over 25 years. Working with pastel pigment in its purest form and with fine oils, she implements classical golden-section geometry to balance structural realism with expressive mark-making. Her highly collectible pieces, including Awaken, Breaking Point, and Cranes Beach Dunes, beautifully capture the changing moods of regional dunes, mountain vistas, and transparent ocean surf. In recognition of her exceptional technique, she was awarded prestigious Master Circle status by the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) and holds signature or juried memberships in the Copley Society of Art, the American Society of Marine Artists, and the Pastel Society of America.
